Welcome!
Hello from all of us at The Healing Tree. Our hope is that our website will inform and update our new and existing clients on what is being provided here at The Healing Tree. Our hope for our blog page is to educate clients on the benefits of massage, provide selfcare and healthy lifestyle tips and maybe even share some of our personal stories on why we love and believe in massage.
I will begin our first blog with STRESS. Chronic stress is what causes us to become sick with disease. Life is beautiful, with joyous occasions and experiences. Life can also get hectic and demanding. Your body can not differentiate between “good” stress and “bad” stress. All it knows or feels is getting flooded with the chemicals that our glands secrete to get us through the stressful situation. Massage can help with stress levels, but there are daily choices you need to be making in between your massages. Eating well and nutritiously, exercising and trying not to be sedentary, being financially responsible, doing what brings you peace. These things can help to manage your stress and minimize its effects on our body. You also need to be your best advocate for yourself and your health. Some things may work well for you and less for others and vice versa. We all lead different lives and need different things during stages of life. Doing the selfcare that we recommend at home between your massages will only enhance your massage sessions.
Please take a few moments to visit the policy and forms page. At this time, we will not be scheduling appointments online. We need and like to have a verbal interaction when scheduling appointments; especially with new clients. You are however, able to purchase gift certificates on our website.
Thank you for choosing to come to The Healing Tree. We are looking forward to caring for you and your loved ones. We all hope that you enjoy and are informed by our website. Please don’t hesitate to call the studio @ 256-547-7009 if you need further assistance or to schedule an appointment.
Exercise-Eat Well-Be Well.
Sending many well wishes your way-
